The Liverpool Philharmonic Hall is the home of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, the UK's oldest urviving professional symphony orchestra, and its music-making at home and abroad.
Centrally situated between Liverpool's two cathedrals, Liverpool Philharmonic Hall is one of Europe's finest art deco buildings and a unique and spectacular venue for a wide range of events. The hall stages about 250 events each year, over 60 of which are concerts of classical music. The other shows include music of all genres, comedians, and films shown on the Walturdaw screen.
Philharmonic Hall's year-round programme features top names from classical, contemporary and chamber music, folk, roots, jazz, blues, rock, pop, comedy, spoken word and partnerships with the City's festivals including Liverpool Arabic Arts Festival, Liverpool Irish Festival, Liverpool Comedy Festival and Brouhaha.
Liverpool Philharmonic Hall can be hired for private events. weddings, birthday celebrations, naming ceremonies, retirement parties - whatever the occasion, the Hall provides a unique setting for a memorable event.
